Welcome to Sevenoaks Camera Club

We aim to encourage photography and to help our members to make or simply enjoy better pictures. We are photographers of all abilities, from relative beginners to very experienced, from around Sevenoaks. We hope you will join us and you're welcome to try out a few meetings before deciding to become a member.

• We're not concerned about what camera you use and we've seen great pictures taken on compacts and mobile phones in our events. Whether beginner or experienced, whatever medium you use to make your photographs, you will be welcome.
• Some of our members no longer take photographs, but attend regularly to see some good pictures from members and outside speakers. At the same time they enjoy the sociable nature of our Club, which is very important to us.
• We don't teach by a formal course but our talks and competitions can be great ways to learn about photographic techniques, subjects, composition, etc. Sometimes just looking at photographs can be a spur that helps us improve our own pictures. Help and guidance is also available informally from other members.
